Bromhexine

Bromhexine is a synthetic derivative of the herbal active ingredient vasicine. It acts as a secretolytic and mucolytic agent in the respiratory tract, reducing the viscosity of mucus in the bronchial tubes and assisting in its clearance.

Dosage by Body Weight

Adults and children over 12 years: 8 mg to 16 mg three times daily. Children 6-12 years: 4 mg to 8 mg three times daily. Children 2-6 years: 2 mg to 4 mg three times daily. Always take with water, preferably after meals.
